I have a GTX 285 and also GTX 570 just purchased. Can I run four monitors with flight simulator, 3 for visual 1 for instruments?

I did have the Matrox TH2Go with the 285 and four monitors and it ran fine. The Matrox has stopped working but I now have the second video card.

Figured I could save a dollar if I don't need the Matrox.

The information I have read indicates I can use the 285 for support only as a physx card not to run additional monitors. If this is the case should I then reinstall the
285 with the 570 for support or is that too complicated? I only run flight simulation with a three monitor/matrox system and a fourth monitor for instruments. The system
does seem to struggle with the one card now, maybe the second will help. On the shelf it is not helping out at all

PhysX is very specific middleware. FSX (or any other MSFS for that matter) does not have one bit of PhysX in it, so a dedicated PhysX card would serve no purpose !
Using an older Nvidia card for PhysX would only make sense with games from this list: http://physxinfo.com/index.php?p=gam&f=gpu

Unfortunately I am not familiar with FSX and the way it handles multiple displays. (All I know is that Nvidia Surround on this GPU would require two 570s running in SLI and would NOT allow for a fourth monitor without an additional card.)

As a former TripleHeader, I wish I could be of more help

Thank You for the feedback. I'm going to ditch the GTX285 then and just use the one GTX570 that I have. I'll use Matrox TH2Go for the surround monitors and the second display port for instruments. I should sell the 285 I suppose someone could use that rather than the trash bin.
