There is a new 2gb version of this card out. Wondering if anyone can give any info on this card. I'm looking for a cheap upgrade for my eyefinity setup. 5760x1080. I have ONE 6870 now and can run most games at a combo of medium/high settings with a good 45fps. I was wondering if the 2gb of ram would make a noticeable difference in performance. Or would another 6870 in crossfire give more performance. This is for eyefinity res only, I know two reference 6870 in CF would be ideal for a single monitor. Still looking for a single card solution right now, and this card is only around $200. If I go to any kind of CF setup a new power supply will mandatory but I might do it if performance is worth it.
Or anyone that uses a single 2gb card @ 5760x1080 please post your experiences.
