Greetings to all WSGF.
I recently entered the club Eyefinity users (in my humble economy) and acquired a HD7770 which has the following connections:
DVI-I (VGA) + DVI-D + HDMI + DP

And also these monitors:
VGA + DP + VGA

My problem is that one of those I connect VGA to DVI-D or HDMI.
I'm thinking of using a HDMI to VGA coversor. But I do not know if supported, to create my Eyefinity.

On Ebay I have seen this model. But some reviews say they are unsure that function as digital to analog converter.
Specifications:
Support definition 1080P and 720P
Compliant with HDMI 1.3a
Built-in chipset
No external power required. Power supply from HDMI signal
Audio not supported via VGA
Suitable for almost all HDMI output and VGA input connection
HDMI: Standard Type A port male
VGA: VGA video port, female
Length: About 26cm
Weight: About 45g
Color exactly as shown in the pictures
Support Video output in VGA:1920*1200@60Hz(MAX)

Package includes:
1 x HDMI Male to VGA Female Adapter Cable
Does anyone can confirm or suggest me any option at a good price? Thx d(^.^ )

P.D: I apologize for my bad English, I speak only Spanish.

I just picked up one of these off ebay and it came in today. It allows for eyefinity because it has an active Analog to Digital device inside.
I'd get one of those and run the other two on DVI.

Doesn't work!

because 1 Monitor is directly via DP connected,
2nd goes via DVI-I analog VGA Adapter.
and thrid one... well DVI-D doesn't have analog signal! You'd need an Active DVI->VGA Adapter. OR an Active HDMI->VGA / HDMI ->DVI-A Adapter.

suiken_2mieu:
In my situation, I have one of my monitors native DisplayPort. The HDMI->VGA for a monitor. I have no other options because I have only the connections mentioned above.

Haldi:
Should be "Active" to run the HDMI adapter? I could only find references to the DP->* Active or *->DP Active, but nothing about HDMI->VGA Active.

I purchased a adapter HDMI->VGA for 20€ and in a few days got home. I will comment if also to recognize my monitor, I can set my Eyefinity.

Well yeah, needs to be Active, no idea if they exist though ^^

Don't know how HDMI works! but if you use DisplayPort, and have a passive Adapter, GPU will recognize that and send an analog VGA signal through displayport!
This means one Analog converter inside GPU is busy! no idea how many there are... thought it was two ? so if you try to use 3 analog signals, one Screen will turn Black.

I finally got the adapter to HDMI / VGA and works perfactamente the Eyefinity. No problems in the games or the refresh rate.

The adapter is not heated and does not give problems in installation. The only strange is that when using the HDMI detects a audio device non-existent.
I am satisfied with the result... Recommend these converters who need them.

Thanks for all the help.
