There are a few of us on the forum, and I really need your help in testing games as the native resolution of 2560x1600. If you have a 30" panel, and any of the games with a Detailed Report, can you please test it at the native res, so we can update that Detailed Report. If you have a game that doesn't have a Detailed Report, can you please test at the 2560x1600 resolution, even if you don't have time to write a full Detailed Report. My contacts at Nvidia have said they will try and help us (no promises mind you) by procuring games that we don't have, and that haven't been tested. If there is a game you'd like to test (and can commit to test), that isn't listed here, and don't already have, please post that game here. Also, if you own a 30" panel, please post here so I can keep track of this group of users. (Hopefully) upcoming tests: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Half-Life Max Payne 1 Max Payne 2 Games confirmed for 2560x1600. Yo. _o/ ;) I'll check out all the games I have at the moment. There doesn't seem to be a detailed report for Oblivion so I might write that. Come to think of it, it might be easier to just list all the games I have and edit the result in later if 2560x1600 works as described in reports: Tested: GTA:SA Works GTA:VC Works GTA3 Works ES4:Oblivion Works City Life Works CIV IV Works Doom 3 Works Half-Life 2 (incl. ep1&mods) Works Quake 4 Works OpenTTD Doesn't work Ship Simulator 2006 Works Red Alert 2 Doesn't work Will be able to test: Far Cry Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Half-Life Max Payne 1 Max Payne 2 Neverwinter Nights |

I would like to know if the following games can work with native 2500x1600 resoltion or if they can be forced to do it through editing the config.ini. Any feedback will be much appreciated. This 30 inch panel is very expensive and it would be terrible if none of my?yours favourite games worked at 2500x1600... Fable : The lost Chapters, Deus Ex (the first game, not Invisible war) No one Lives forever 2 (An oldie but a goodie) The chronicles of Riddick Psychonauts Doom 3 Vampire The Masquerade : Bloodlines ( There is Res. patcher for this game as changing the config.ini doesn't work for the game, but does the patcher go up to 2500x1600? I don't think it does I think 1920x1200 is the highest it goes, so what should I do , I really like this game, and would love to see it at 2500x1600) Hitman Blood Money ( a beutifal game) Ghost recon Advanced warfighter? The sims 2 ( an important one) Thank You. |

If someone sends me a 30" panel, i'll test all my games. ;) Seriously though, is this only for 2500x1600? Any 1920x1200 resolutions needing testing? |

I havn't got a 30 inch screen yet. I want to know it will play my games at native resoluion first bbefore I buy it. I am willing to e-send my games to anyone who has a 30incher for testing. Free games. Can't say fairer than that. |

Hi I put in a order for a Dell 3007wfp so I really need some help with the resoltion stuff please. Can Fable, Vampire , Deus Ex and the Sims 2 do 2500x1600? If not how do I hack them to make them do it. Please someone help me out. Oh yeah what about San Andreas? Can that do it ? If not how? Thank you. |

Tony, This is exactly the kinds of questions we want answered. The assumption is that any game that will support widescreen will support the 2560x1600. But, we need to confirm that. When you get your panel, please test every game you have (using any widescreen tricks needed), and see if the games support the res, and then post back here. |

I have a 30 inch Apple Cinema Display, but only have a Macbook Pro to hook up to it and I don't want to install Windows onto it, but my PC is getting a 7900gs with dual-link to power the display, so I may be able to test some games and whatnot then. |
