Here's my question... I used to run dual monitors (CRT), and I never had a problem, because the resolution is only about 2560x1024.

So I'm looking to switch over to LCD's now. I was thinking about getting one 24"... but now I'm wondering about running two 22's.

Can you run two 22's at 3360x1050? If so, do you need a special video card?

The only reason I'm wondering is that I've never seen a resolution that wide as an option with a video card... Or is that just because I was running CRT's, and if I had plugged in an LCD, it would have offered me that resolution? Or do you have to change the settings to get 3360x1050?

I'm currently running a GeForce 6100.

For that matter, is there any reason I couldn't run two 24's at 3800x1200?

Thanks.

Theres no reason that you shouldn't be able to display 3360x1050, or even 3800x1200 provided that you have 2 display connectors on your graphics card.

Ok, cool. I was just going to ask you why my graphics settings don't show those high resolutions as an option... then I realized that if I go deep enough into the nvidia panel that I can create custom resolutions... so I guess that answers that.

Must...resist...buying...two 24"s.... :x
