I just got a new Alienware desktop up and running, and after about an hour with a Dell Alienware Tech Specialist we got the Eyefinity from 2 HD 5870 cards working 3x1. I was able to get rid of my old Matrox Triple Head 2 Go, but I am sorely missing the ability to open a window and have it snap to the borders of the monitor it was opened in instead of maximizing across all three screens. If anyone knows how to make that work, please help!!

Use extended mode so you have 3 monitors working together. If you use eyefinity sls mode you just have one big monitor so there is no way for it to snap to the borders (maybe matrox software will work not sure)

Also take it a step further and use Ultramon or DisplayFusion on your multi monitor setup it adds a lot of nice features.

I have gotten to the point where I leave mine in SLS mode all the time now but I adapt to things easy and my windows open in just the right size to fill one screen since that was there last saved size.
