Hi all.

I recently put my monitors up useing 3 cheap wall mounts but they cant seem to hold the weight of a 8kg monitor lol as they keep sagging!

I have Placed and order for this: http://www.allcam.biz/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=29&products_id=247
Plus i have placed and order for 2 extra Arms so the arms will be 20cm each longer to be able to add the extra 24" display.

Anyone think this will look anygood and solve my stupid tilting over time usse?

Sagging is just the nature of the materials. Even the $800 mounts for plasma tend to sag at least a bit. Even more when fully extended. Remember that if they didn't sag, they'd likely snap. A good example: I have a 24" monitor that's a little under 10kg on a mount thats rated to hold up to 20kg. It's a very heavy, solid steel, quality mount, and it still sags a wee bit when fully extended.

That mount you linked to looks to be the exact same as one I've checked out at Monoprice.com, and they reviews for that one are quite good, so I'm sure it'll suffice. The only thing that will get you less sag is a more resilient material like boxed aluminum or something. Are you ordering those two extra arms to mount to the triple-mount you've linked to?If so, expect a lot more sag. Just be sure to compensate it when you set them up.

Myself, i ended up getting three single-arm mounts, as reviewed by a WSGF member. I had been considering them, but more pics and a good review sold me on getting some. If anything, I'd worry about what you're affixing your mount to.

Thats a great reply thanks!

I currently have mine mounted on a single mount each, Its not the indirect sag of each arm join im annoyed at, its the fact that these mounts use a ball type join and no matter what the ball slips and the monitor tilts down!

From the pics the new mount has joins i can tighten up nice and tight :D

Yea i had to order the extra arm's, The internet reviews say that it will only take 3x 15Inch monitors with some extra arms, they were £14 a peice so the mount ended up at around £105 inc delivery. Not bad if it works out nicely!

I shall be mounting it on the wall or my desk. my desk is 2" thick kitchen work top so should easy hold it, i will use some nice thick bolts and large washers for stability :D
