Hey, this is my first post (i think), I am just wondering if there is a recommended 27'' monitor i could use as the center display in my eyefinity group?
I currently use a toshiba 32'' hdtv (1080p 60hz) as the center monitor and 2 acer h274hl (27'' LED 60hz 5ms tn pannel (I'm fine with the viewing angles)) as the side moniotors.
I got 2 xfx 6950 double D 2gb (crossfire) so it handles prettymuch anything fine at 5760x1080 and my desk is large enough to fit all that on it.

I could spare about 300 $ for that display (but cheaper would be fine too ...) and small bezels would be nice (to overlap the acer ones),
LED is a MUST. (to match luminosity)
I have NO need for 120hz or 3d...
I just want to get rid of the tv, i just can t read anything on it, it s just too blurry. (1920x1080 on 27in is ok for me)
I already got a xfx displayport to dvi connector and a bad apple knockoff displayport to vga connector. (that i could rly get rid of)

I looked at the ASUS VE278Q 27'', 10,000,000:1, 2ms, displayport, is it good? (i would like cheaper but ill pay what I must)

O and I am also interested in getting mounts for portrait mode .(for those 27'')
(for those games that doesn t support 48x9 but could do 27x16 (that is closer to 16x9))
if it s possible for the monitor to already have a pivot on, it could end up cheaper in the end.

the second link gets to the asus ve278q (which I linked and looks nice) but i don t know if the specs rly translate to a good monitor...
I found a samsung T27A300 which also looks like it could work (but isn t as nice as the ASUS)

asus ve278q
3 year warrenty (to ASUS)
True Resolution : 1920x1080
ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio (ASCR) : 10000000:1
Viewing Angle (CR≧10) : 170°/160°
Response Time : 2ms (Gray to Gray)

samsung T27A300
built in tv tuner (with picture in picture)
2 year warrenty (to brick and mortar store)
Display type: Edge-Lit LED
Resolution: 1920 x 1080
HDTV ready – 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p
Response time: 5 ms
Refresh rate: 60 Hz
contrast ratio = ?
Viewing angle: 170°, 160°

Once again that is a tv which might not deliver readable pages, i think ill read more on the ve278q and try to find a good deal if i like what i read... ill do the same for the T27a300 unless some of you think it s totally bad.
and i guess pivot monitors rly aren t in my price range and i might as well forget that and get a real triple mount instead

Any one ever heard about the samsung S27B370H?
http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/consumer/computer-peripherals/monitors/consumer/LS27B370HS/XK?subsubtype=series-3-led
is it any good? i can t find any review on it...
