Post subject:  Darksiders III UW Cutscenes Fix (Update :Patch 6)
This modified exe should remove black bars on custcenes and main menu in ultrawide screen . i made horizontal view same as 16:9 to avoid break the shots , here's the statement from developer and misplaced subtitle will be fixed in official future patch

How to ?
Make Sure on latest Update > Exract.rar > put Darksiders3-Win64-Shipping in Darksiders3\Binaries\Win64 and replace > play a game

open hxd or any hex editor program > CTRL+G search offset 011F4500 > Change 48 81 EC D0 00 00 00 F6 41 2C 01 49 8B D9 0F 29 to 48 81 EC D0 00 00 00 F6 41 2C 00 49 8B D9 0F 29

I'm not being able to find the offset on the GoG versio, anyone manage to do it?

for GOG you should try search hex-values 00 F6 41 2C 01 then change to 00 F6 41 2C 00

make sure in C:\GOG Games\Darksiders III\Darksiders3\Binaries\Win64 not the outside folder. are you tried with search direction "all" ? . btw i added for gog version , i believe still day one version right ?

I have just downloaded and am now using the patch, working a treat so far thanks susahamat!
Interesting that devs have said they didn't want to support unbarred cutscenes, I haven't seen any off screen issues yet.
Why not just enable them and give gamers a choice?
