Hi Guys, need a 21:9 fix for this brillant game! Hex code (39 8E E3 3F to 8A E3 18 40) did not work for me.

I've spent quite a lot of time on it and managed to reach the right aspect ratio and get rid of the pillarboxing. I turned my findings into patchers for the most common resolutions. Download them here. The game PCGW article I've contributed to may also be of value to anyone interested in how the game supports other hardware, how to disable the vsync and so forth. Edit: The old instructions are no longer relevant. I got the FOV to be on par with 16:9 at all scenes - no more blurred out parts in the shower. Shawn did not move after the boomerang turn. Shawn only stand by side the bank. The game hangs. After copying the old (saved-) .exe the game runs further- Shawn is going to the seesaw but only in Widescreen (with blackbars) and not in Ultrawidescreen... Any suggestions for solution?

That would be really strange, considering that none of the changes affect any aspects of the game but the AR and FOV. Are you sure you didn't have vsync disabled through the config? Can you share your saved games data found in %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\HeavyRainNS\ and tell me which part to load? |
