I'm still confused as to why 5x1 keeps on only being randomly implemented in non-release driver versions. Why haven't they allowed it out on an a release version yet? It's sending out mixed messages as far as their support intentions.

This is because your resolution is not yet set to something other than the single display resolution.

That makes sense, I was in extended mode at 6000x1920 before enabling Eyefinity, so never ran into it.

I'm confused about the 5x1P driver situation too. I had the impression it was live in 11.8 release. I remember reading somewhere the version strings somewhere in 11.8 preview superseded 11.8 release, so maybe it'll be a 11.9 thing.. finally.

Thx for the reply I had to do a fresh install of Windows even after driver sweeper had too many NVIDIA and matrox drivers installed so after the new win 7 64 install I installed 11.8 preview drivers and 5x1 worked!!!! The debezeled 27s look great

have a question as well... i have a second card in the machine a eah3450... i wanted to plug in the two monitors on the right that you see stacked... it works but catalyst drivers are picking them up on the eyefinity ACK which kills the five screens i got... i thought it would ignore them because they are on a totally separate card... any suggestions on how i can get this done? should i use an nvidia based card as the secondary?
