Really...well now you have me wondering if I should stick with my roots. Good thing its a month before I HAVE to make a decision. :)
One concern I have just thought of though...and I hope I am not buggin the piss outta you...its not my intention. My concern is I am still using my LAST builds PSU.
Here it is;
Corsair CMPSU 750TX
Would it work for the single 7950?
But now the question is, would it be better to get two GTX 560ti 2GB cards? Maybe two of these:
MSI OR two of these:
EVGA
I KNOW I am flipflopping around a bit but I am just weighing my options. A pair of those cards would cost ABOUT the same as one 7950...what are the any pros or cons of this?
The first I think would be the PSU...I am sure two cards of that caliber would need at least an 850 watt PSU. And for the ability to do three monitors with nVidia I would HAVE to have two cards (right?). So its not possible to just get a single GTX580...as it would be basically the same price as the HD7950 Radeon card EXCEPT...I CAN do three monitors with THAT one card.
SO...it looks like I get two mid range nVidia cards or one high end AMD...maybe THATS what this thread should have been to start with.
Thanks for bearing with me on this and for all the helpful and thoughtful advice!
