as title says

I have 120W picopsu + 110W adapter) so I need low power card with triple monitor output dvi/dp/vga - already i have 5450 with dp but I need DP1.2.
So only choice will be HD6 or HD7 series. I spent a lot time for looking hd6450 but all cards have hdmi output, or OEM cards but onlu dvi/dp without third(vga) output. So, anyone saw hd6450/7450 with triple outputs with dp (dp1.2)?
why dp1.2?

- powercolor AX6450 1GBK3-SD - not avaible anywhere
- visiontek hd6570 (dms@2xdvi + dp) but cost 120$
- vertex3d hd6570 (2x dvi + mdp) not avaible anywhere
- sapphire hd7750 (dvi, mdp, mhdmi) (low idle power, but high max tdp)

- OEM hd6450/7450/7570 lowprofile cards - dvi + dp (have not soldered pins for vga output - if i solder pins should it works?


Dell u2913wm have built-in dp hub but will work with dp active adapter?

Now thats a good question!

it Should work because it's an Active adapter! So the DP signal coming from the GPU going into and out of the Monitor is then being converted into a DVI Signal!
The problem would be: Will the EDID be sent over DVI to DP adapter to the Monitor and then to the GPU so the GPU accepts the Monitor as video panel ?
No idea!

HD7750 @ DP --> DELL --> DP out + active dvi adapter not work

HD7750 @ DP --> DELL --> DP out to DP monitor HP ZR2440w works
