As you may have heard, Gearbox Software
purchased the Homeworld franchise IP from the new defunct THQ. In a
news recent news post THQ outlined their plans to "preserve and assemble the purest form of the original acclaimed and beloved games." They also state that they will make the games available on the "leading digital platforms". I'm guessing this means GOG and Steam.
THQ has invited gamers to
visit the Gearbox Software Forums and let them know what you'd like to see done with the franchise. Based on our current research, widescreen support in
Homeworld can be achieved by a Registry edit; both widescreen and multi-monitor support in
Homeworld 2 are achieved by an .ini edit.
I've
