Hello, I want to run this game in widescreen, but couldn't find any information about it. Is it possible and what do I have to do? Can anyone help me please?

Edit: I've managed to do it. You have to edit the .exe file with a hex editor. Look for 80020000C701E001 and change it to 56050000C7010003 (for a 1366x768 resolution). It's working perfectly for me now.

Asks for a solution, finds it himself, comes back to post it in detail: classy 8-)
Too bad the 3D seems to just stretch. Maybe some other hex bits can fix the aspect ratio ?

Yes, actually it turned out that it's possible to make it look even better. I replaced all ABAAAA3F vallues to 398EE33F for a 16:9 aspect ratio. I would have done this earlier, but this is the first time for me making a game work in widescreen and I didn't know so thanks for the advice :)

Thank you for the links. I've added the game to the list. The information about it is not complete, but for the moment I can only test it on one computer. Hope that someone else will be able to add more details soon.

That's how DR work. You fill in as much as you can, and the next one continues.

But a small note. The game itself is Stretched not Hor + only with the hack it would be Hor+

In the additional WSGF links you could add the thread of this Forum.

And in the widescreen solutions & issues you'd describe which file you edited how to get it working.

But as the game is from 2006 and we didn't even have a DR till now there might not be a lot of people playing this game ^^

Ok, but I have a question. Should I change Widescreen Behavior from Hor+ to Stretch? Because without any hex edits the game is not even stretched, but has black bars on both sides of the screen. And you are right that there are probably not many people who play this game, but the information could be useful to those that still do it.

Ahh okay, so the correct definition would be Pillarboxed !

Quote:
Pillarbox = Widescreens have black bars on the left and right of the cut scene. The black bars get thicker as the screen gets wider.

And yes! We always write the "Out of the Box" capability for games. Also the Screenshots should be "Out of the Box"
There is an "Additional Screenshots" section whre you can upload the fixed version screenshots.

btw, i did not mean that it would not be helpfull for other people, more like there won't be many other people adding more screenshots.

P.s. Great job! :onethumb:
