Hayden has released a plugin to remove the letter-boxing in the cutscenes. Sadly it doesn't work for me (letter-boxing is still there when the fix is enabled). I am running the game at 2560x1080.

Yup it doesn't work for me either and I also run it at that resolution. Today some modder(s) cracked the .rpf files and so far released the "common" folder which can be downloaded here http://refint.org/files/common_data.7z

Maybe by next week we will have all the files and a HUD placement fix will be easier to create.

I'm pretty surprised how good the game looks for how well it runs. I was actually able to crank up everything to ultra on the SLI 670s. The only things i had to do to get 40+fps was ramp back postFX, motionblur and depth of field. I don't like motionblur or DOF anyway, and post FX on high looks damn good anyway.

I do have to say that for whatever reason jagged edges seem far more noticeable in GTAV than other games. Antialiasing would be super nice, but i'm just out of horsepower, and id rather run all the settings at ultra than drop em just to kick on AA.

Wow, what can I say... Intalled the AMD 15.4 beta driver this evening, my frame rates at 6048 x 1170 jumped from an avergae of 10fps (with a minimum of 4fps) up to a solid 60fps with V-Sync turned on. Whatever they've done in the latest driver has had a massive impact on performance.

I've got all details set on high at the moment and I'm guessing there's headroom to push them some more. I'll have to experiment with that later, I'm just happy the low frame rates were so easily rectified. AMD need to get these drivers released fully ASAP!

Same here, I'm on the resolution, the fix might have only been for multi-monitors

Seems likes everyone else with AMD cards saw imrpovements, I am the exception, 15.4 beta makes my framerate worse XD but it's not really a problem because I get a pretty good 50-60 fps without it anyway.

Have you tried the screen safe option in the display settings? I managed to reduce the size of the hud so it fits perfectly on my centre monitor.

GTA V is by far the most polished and fully featured multi monitor game I've yet to see. Outstanding work! This should set the standard for all game to come!

5760X1200 working amazingly well. Perfect multi-monitor implementation.

Not to mention how amazingly optimized the game is.

Is there a way to use this files for the Rockstar Client.

I suppose this is only for the Steam version.
The letterbox fix didn't work for me aswell in flawless widescreen.

Thanks Hayden after the latest update the letterbox fix works for me.
EDIT: It seems the cutscenes go back to 16:9 if you alt tab and then back in during one.
