I'm having issues with the Widescreen Fixer plugin for RE: Revelations, the fix itself works beautifully, and the rescaling of the HUD is fine. The issue is that it also increases the aiming FOV (over the shoulder cam). I prefer original low FOV for aiming, so I mapped a macro to the right mouse button which disables the FOV fix while aiming, but then the HUD is not rescaled to the old FOV - which means no crosshair, ammo counter etc.

To get around this I tried using Cheat Engine instead of Widescreen Fixer - I was able to move the camera position via a memory hack, the camera can be moved further back to simulate a wider FOV, and then moved back in for aiming. The HUD (crosshair etc.) is preserved in both cases, but this method also breaks the in-game flashlight and causes the screen to flicker every few seconds, so it isn't really a good fix.

Does anyone have any other suggestions to fix this? I've exhausted all the options I can think of - and I wouldn't how to modify the plugin itself.
