So, I've been thinking the past few days about what Video Card to get, however with the plethora of cards here and coming out I just wanted to know what card you will or could get.

Let me give you the Specs.

3x U2410's (Multiple Monitor Gaming)

The computer won't get in the way of the card.

What do you want? What do you suggest? Price is no option.

(PS - This is as much for me as for you, so get imaginative)

How about you tell us what card you already have? Or maybe this is for a new build? It would be good info to have either way.

I would really wait to see how the GTX 300 series shapes up. I was a stone's throw away from getting a 5870 bit backed out to wait and see what nVidia does.

Current video card isn't important, just think of one of the best cards for a streamline :triplewide setup.

Parameters would be the current HD5000 Series and the GTX300 Series.

You mean the gtx 400 series right?

Just something to consider:

GTX 480/470 will require SLI for triple wide. One GTX 480 uses more power than a 5970 with the 470 close behind. nVidia Surround drivers haven't been released yet (and the cards haven't even hit retail for that matter).

The minimum card I'd get for triple wide is Radeon HD 5850 with 5870 being optimal. 5970's are extremely rare and as such their prices are incredibly high right now. Check out the 5870 E6 review for some performance numbers in triple wide.

I would wait for the GTX 480/470 cards to hit the streets along with nvidia's drivers. Hopefully there will be triple wide performance comparisons. After that, the only thing you have to consider is money and power/heat consumption of running two GTX 480/470 cards.

Of course, a wild card amongst all this is to get SLI GTX 200 cards... since nvidia has said that their surround drivers are backwards compatible with the previous gen.

Very well put. Personally, I would wait for the new NVidia drivers to be released so everyone can get some hands on experience with the NVidia Surround Gaming experience. I'm hoping against it, but for all we know, it may be broken out of the gate. Just look at all the issues ATI has had in the past 6 months with Eyefinity. The last thing you want is to spend a fortune on video cards and not be able to use them properly. Hopefully the drivers will be available in the next week or so.

Yes... I'd circle the airport as well for a week or two.

You might also add to the mix of your decision the fact that the Nvidia setup, in addition to triple head gaming, will also do triple head gaming in 3D (with the correct monitors). I have a buddy who saw the PAX demo of this live and said it was just unbelievable. Personally, I've been waiting a long time for this: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=11158

I'm waiting for the new Nvidia Surround drivers to try on my 280GTX SLI setup. I'm hoping to retire my TH2Go Digital box which has served me well in favor of Nvidia Surround.

Maybe I'll get to run TH in my native setup res of 4800x1200; something my Matrox box can't do.

3D doesn't interest me as much as it might for others, it is nice, but I'll wait on that technology.

So, from what I have heard, it is best to sit tight and wait, still. I really wanted an E6, but I waited for reviews and the chance that a 3rd party would do their own thing to it. Also, more options means more availability for the cards currently out (as others might go that way instead of the other).
