The new patch works great, just a few rendering bugs (things going to black static/white static) on the outer monitors. Apart from that it is good HOR + support but.....
If only I could edit the HUD!
Not so bad here

But pretty terrible here!

Sorry for dark pics but it is AvP! (and FRAPs is playing up at the moment... grrrr)

Still crap myself playing this game LOL

Shame, but it's nearly there. I loved that game when it was originally released. The new one is going to be sh*t scary in Eyefinity with the lights out :hide

Sorry. I meant I had issues with Fraps in Steam games, too - until I unchecked "Enable Steam Community In-Game" under Settings, In-Game.

There were a few updates since these posts:

AVP Classic 2000 Update Version 1.04 - MULTIPLAYER BETA
The multiplayer beta of AVP Classic 2000 will shortly be available as an update from Steam.

As we've had so much fun playing multiplayer, we decided to release this beta version now rather than waiting any longer!

Please report any multiplayer issues to this thread.

Integrated with Steam overlay[/*:m]

Uses Steam name[/*:m]

Host/join games via bare-bones in-game lobby browser[/*:m]

Can invite and join friends and other players via the Steam overlay[/*:m]

Currently no way to create private games (will patch)[/*:m]

Game attempts host migration[/*:m]

Dedicated servers are not supported or planned[/*:m]

Supports windowed mode with –w command line switch[/*:m][/list:u]

AvP Classic 2000 Version 1.03

Improved HUD scaling for the Marine and Predator. Now HUDs don't dominate the screen so much at high resolutions, and they also work correctly with extreme widescreen displays (e.g. an Eyefinity three monitor 48:9 setup).[/*:m]

Rewritten D3D9 initialisation and video mode select. Now more streamlined and without legacy DX6/DX7 redundancies (less chance to fail on modern drivers).[/*:m][/list:u]

AvP Classic 2000 Version 1.02

Fix for video resolution menu on German version[/*:m][/list:u]

You might want to check the HUD again. :)

It's really amazing to see the support going into such an old game.
