I know that you can play call of duty @1776x1000 as shown here

http://www.tigerdave.com/wgl/#callofduty

but can the same thing be done for the add on "united offensive"? or
Even 1920x1080

I imagine so. Unless they've specifically made it so widescreen no longer works.

I'm playing UO at 1680x1050, so I'm guessing would be able to do 1776x1000 as well. I'm curious though, what kind of display are you using that supports that resolution?

I think that res is used on a 1920x1080 TV when there's overscan.

hey guys, i just found this site thanks to an AVSforum.com member, who directed me here to resolve my inability to play certain games in 16:9 on my sony projector.

with that said, my pj's native res is 1366x768. would i be able to enter this res into CoD's config file to achieve widescreen bliss, or will i be relegated to something like 1024x768 or 1776x1000. my only concern with the latter is my pj's refresh rate is something in the range of 56.? hz

holla

PS I'm running a sony vpl-hs10

If you can use the res in Windows, you can get it working in game, too, via the .cfg files or by the console, dependent on which method you prefer... :)

oh queso, ;) if wanted a rez of 1366x768, i would put 1366 as the horizontal and 768 as the vertical, the fisheye thing about 115 and the developer thing at -1.

correct?

hey, quick question while i have your attention. i just posted in hardware. i'm looking for support for my rumblepad 2 gamepad. it won't run on call of duty but i know there's a way to program it to somewhat control the game. do you know if that info is on this site or can you recommend another site to look?

thanks again!

You want to set 'r_mode' to -1, not developer. ;) Other than that, you are correct. :)

As for the RumblePad... not sure. Never been a great fan of gamepads on PCs... ;)
