Anyone have a way of doing this? Changing the pixel settings in the config.cfg doesn't seem to make any difference.

Assistance would be appreciated.

Well I haven't figured it out yet but on the otherhand, how is the game running for you. I did a medium size map skarmish with 3 AI and about 30 minutes into the game it slowed to a claw.

Actually i haven't played it yet! :P

I won't play it until i can get it running in widescreen mode, i'm one of those annoying perfectionists that simply refuses to play the game stretched or change the aspect ratio of his widescreen display

Strange thing happened, I save the slow game and reloaded, it was slow to start and after a bit it speed back up again and had no problem till the end. maybe there's a memory leak in the program.

at first it didnt bother me...
but then the more i played and needed to switch from one map section to another and carefully pick units and buildings it become much more annoying. dragging across the landscape when stretched like that gives my brain a righteous hurting.
