Uhm, GRAW has native widescreen support. If 1680 isn't showing up it isn't the game. Is 1680x1050 what your desktop is set as?

It is set up at 1680X1050 on my desktop... I am reading some prior posts and see that if my graphic card is not 512meg, then it won't show up? I have a 256meg card....

Heh, GRAW is stupid however. Hoose was right; if you don't have a 512MB card you aren't presented with the higher resolutions, which includes 1680x1050. The idea is to ensure the player cannot select settings that are going to overload the system, but completely ignores advanced users and situations like this. It's completely retarded, but then again it's a crap engine.

Hoose, you have to got to the "Ghost Recon Advanced WarfighterDatasettings" folder (where you installed the game) and edit "renderer_settings.xml". You'll find a resolution entry there if I remember correctly; just change it to be 1680 x 1050 in the way it is already set, and it will be all good.

Thanks Foolsgold... I will give that a try. I am starting to agree with you that GRAW is more of a pain then anything... UBI is in desperate need of "another" patch. Thanks again!!

Once again a HUGE thx to FoolsGold for the tip.. "Ghost Recon Advanced WarfighterDatasettings" folder (where you installed the game) and edit "renderer_settings.xml".

I changed this setting to 1680x1050 my native resolution, and WOW does it run and look nice. Might I mention I only have a PCI-E 256meg card... Yes I did a few "tweaks" and modifications to the game, but WOW, runs and looks great!!

THANKS again FoolsGold!!

Hey peeps!, dont mind me post here (first time post here ..) lately i installed my GRAW and updated to latest version which its v1.35.

Juz gotten my widescreen monitor (VX2025wm), and i noticed theres only option on 16:9 aspect ratio, wheres 16:10?...isnt lcd monitors are 16:10 aspect ratio by default?...

And the highest resolution i can get its only 1280x1024... wherelse all my "native widescreen res" supports to 1680x1050 which its my max and optimised/native resolution for my 20.1inch lcd monitor.

Any ideas?..

Thx in advanced for those who replied.

Cheers :D
