Hi!

I've carefully followed the instructions in the doom 3 part of this site.

No matter what I do it wont run in 1440 x 900.

I have no problem running 1440x900 in other games.

the cfg file keeps changing back the

seta r_mode back to "3" or "4"

I've tried using the auto detect video thing, playing for a while then editing it again. Still keeps changing it back. I even made the cfg file read only. When I did that it doesnt change but still defaults to the lowest res.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Running a Geforce 7950, monitor native is 1440 x 900.

Is there a log file or something that is created when it launches so I could maybe see what it's doing or why?

Okay, strangely when I went in and reset it through the console it stayed now.

It still shows low res on the options screen but the screenshots show me 1440 x 900.

Anybody know what these mean:

Warning: Couldn't load sound 'guisounds.wav' using default
Warning: idChoiceWindow::InitVars:gui 'guis/mpmain.gui' window 'SNDBPrimary' references undefined cvar 's_driver'

Thanks.
