Anyone getting this problem (see screen shot) so there are two issues here one is that the scope blackness dosnt fill the whole screen., which is annoying but acceptable.

the second is the Grey area, which is rendered differently, water is shown. initially I'm sure it was working. i've been fiddling with the settings as discussed in the other topic. maybe i have changed something i shouldn't have by accident?

b) I've finished Fallout 3 already :p

Its odd but my scope "blackness" fills the screen correctly at 5040x1050.

the default fov setting seems to affect the scope graphic. I've set it to 150, if you leave it at 75 the graphic is letter boxed.

its kinda good ews to hear someone else has the same issue. but I guess i should have asked, does anyone NOT have this issue? and what setting are they using?

This was already covered in the Fallout 3 thread a few weeks ago, if you looked there, you'd also know that unfortunately we don't have a fix :(.

Just use VATS anyway, it's very easy to miss with sniper otherwise and waste those precious bullets :P. Well, except when you're shooting death claws!!!!!

For those who are still searching and stumble upon this thread - here's the solution: (as posted here already)

So if you see this when zooming in with a scoped weapon using a multi-monitor setup

open FALOUT.ini located at C:UsersYourUsernameDocumentsMy GamesFallout3 with your desired text editor, search for the [DISPLAY] section and add the following line:
Code:
fScopeScissorAmount=0

If you did it correctly, zooming in with scoped weapons should look like this:

You're welcome.
Note that the black scope overlay still does not extend over the outer screens to the left and right. If you know how to solve that issue please feel free to enlighten me :)
