Is anyone out there running this game on an eyefinity set up. Tried to play and i'm getting shed loads of graphics glitches, flickering textures, disappearing objects etc. This happens on menu screens and in car, Have tried enabling/disabling vertical sync and lowering detail settings. I have also tried disabling crossfire. Works fine on 1920 x 1200.

My System is.

i7 920 @ 3.6ghz
2 x 5970 in crossfire
Screen : 5812 x 1200 (Dell 2407wfp/Dell 2405fpw/Dell 2407wfphc)
6gb memory
gigabyte e58 extreme mobo
Mobo sound.
Logitech g25.

Any ideas? Have been looking forwards to this game for ages and im a bit miffed that it dont. work. :(

I'm running F1 2010 in 3x1650x1080 (+bezel management) and it works increadibly smoothly.

Im running a i7 @ 4.0ghz, with 5850 CrossFire.

I can only assume its the 5970 CrossFire w/ Eyefinity bug that people have mentioned.

Got to say i'm a bit peeved. Only got the second card to ensure good framerates with this game.

Anyone know if a fix is in the pipeline. If not i might sell the cards and get a couple of 5870s as it looks like i will get decent frame rates with these.

I made a video of my setup.

F12010 runs pretty crappy for me, I had to force crossfire support and even then it's not perfect. I haven't even been able to finish a single race due to it always crashing.

Hi there,

I'm running 2x Sapphire 5970's 2GB versions in crossfire / quadfire.
I'm getting really slow framerates e.g. 10 - 17fps when running F1 2010 in my eyefinity set-up. I have to run multisampling off, v-sync off and all the detail settings to low to acheive anything half playable, and even then it is dropping lots of frames round corners and so on basically rendering the game unplayable.
I've got CCC 10.9 and application profiles 10.9a for F1 2010 installed.

Now the weird thing is when i take out one of the 5970's and run just the single card it runs in nearly highest detail settings with multisampling a 2x and v-sync on at 49 - 59 FPS which is acceptable.

I just don't know why when i add the 2nd card that is supposed to improve performance by 50% it actually decresaes performance by 50%

All my machine specs should be in my signature, so if anyone has experienced this before and knows the answers i'd really appreciate it.

Sig too big. :)

Please make it shorter according to guidelines:

Signatures are available - please do not abuse them. There is a 512 character limit if using that many characters, please choose a font-size small enough so that your signature is not too large. Putting your specs in your signature is highly encouraged, as it makes it easier to help! NO IMAGES!: (CPU, RAM, Mobo, Graphics card, monitor, PSU etc...)

Try using 10.10 beta with the updated 10.9a profiles from the 13th:

Works wonder I've heard. :)

Thanks for your message.

I've tried that and it's still not working better with 2 cards.

Please can someone help me with this?

yes, i have a similar set-up to you and am experiencing the same problems - if you find a solution please let me know. I've even spoken to ATi who said they would get back to me sometime this week.

My system spec is in my signature, but to cut a long story short i've had to take out one of my 5970's from the motherboard. The game now runs ok , but I can't run it in full detail.

Unfortunately, there is no solution to your issue. I have looked for it during months. Quadfire (or 2 x 5970) + Eyefinity has never been correctly supported.

- At that stage, crossfire is nearly correctly supported (even if we could argue)
- Quadfire is correct in some games with some versions of the drivers but horrible in most cases
- Tri-fire is somewhere in between

I had 2 x 5970 since january and I finally sadly decided to sell one of them due the lack of hope in proper quafire + eyefinity in a near future.
I keep the money for the future dual GPU Radeon 6000 card.
