WildStar 2014 Manual PLP Instructions

Game spreads perfect. Hor+, FOV looks proper. Loading screens, menus, HUD & text all perfect. Cutscenes render single-screen, fine.

1. In-game Windowed (not Borderless Windowed), quit.
2. Edit %APPDATA%\NCSOFT\ WildStar\User.ini.
A. video.windowPos=-###,-## (=left,up. Positions window. Negative offset, including borders).
B. video.windowSize=####,#### (your resolution + border).
3. Start game (it's positioned & borderless).

1. Camera distance on mouse wheel (powerful, 1P to distant 3P).
2. In-game FOV slider (not needed, powerful, default 50).
3. SoftTH v2 fullscreen had some potential, but failed prematurely:
A. What works: -dx9 shortcut argument. Fan-made utility exists to enforce x86 (but requires x86 game exe).
B. What fails (on x64 OS): x64 game exe ignores SoftTH v2 x64 (as usual). x86 game version used to exist, but is no longer provided (fresh install 5/2015). May only now exist for x86 OS users.
4. Changes in-game to quality settings will not undo your PLP edits.

GAMEPLAY EXAMPLES: All are my preferred camera distance (not default on boot, not ideal for party).
1. Melee fighting, early solo all. (Game has good melee physics. I hold right-mouse while WASD, & attack are remapped to gaming mouse)
