Bit complex & touchy setup, but good spread. Hor+ & FOV proper. HUD, text & menus are proper (character menu hor+ background, while main menu's background is vert-). Bow & turret aims are about proper (maybe hint FOV- not sure, looks & works good). Rendered cutscenes & dialog full hor+, FMVs are vert-. Loading screens & Credits pillarboxed. Bloody injury overlay is on center only.

1. In-game Windowed, quit.
2. Do Flawless Widescreen Main Fix * (FWS, required).
3. Do FWS HUD Fix ** (optional, recommended).
4. Start FWS, start game, wait for main menu, ShiftWindow (+ border = borderless).
5. Perfect borderless (optional): move one pixel down & right; remove two pixels from height & width. Yours may differ.
6. If problem exists, read Rare Weirdness Fixes ***.

NOTES:
1. * FWS Main Fix: A. Load game plugin, checkmark all (enable, FOV, Aspect Ratio, Custom Resolution). Enter Custom Resolution (fullscreen PLP, no border). Leave FOV slider 0 (it's offset). B. Go to menu Settings, Configuration, Display Detection. Checkmark Enable Detection Override; enter Width & Height (fullscreen PLP), HUD W&H (center's size), HUDX (side width), HUDY zero. Save Changes, then quit.
2. ** FWS HUD Fix (bit complex):
A. Find (path-to-fws)\PluginCache\FWS_Plugins\Modules\ LOTRWITN\Dependencies\Scripts\LOTRWITN.lua.
B. Replace the following string (no quotes, use Notepad), then save: "DisplayGridDetails.GridXCoord" becomes "####/####" (your fullscreen total width / center's width).
3. FWS must be restarted to recognize edits. Should backup lua file. If game butchered in future, paste file back in.
4. *** Rare Weirdness Fixes:
A. First off, never trigger ShiftWindow early; it can cause below-type problems (& is correctable).
B. If pixelized at game-start & mouse failure, you triggered ShiftWindow too early. Press Enter to get main menu, then ShiftWindow again.
C. If game crashing or starts showing two-pixels of window-border on right-most side (cause is corruption):
i. Quit game & FWS (best to restart PC here).
ii. Delete (config-location ****)\GameSettings.sav (for fresh copy).
iii. Restart game, make windowed, quit. Play game. D. If on boot player is shrouded in light-grey, then Ctrl+Alt+Del, Task Manager, Alt+Tab back to game.
5. **** Configuration file location varies. Just Search if you need it.
