Facts and rumour "clean up" about Warpalizer.
I want to dedicate today's blog post to clearing up a few misconceptions about Warpalizer addressing some rumors and sharing some facts about Warpalizer. Please read on and do not hesitate to ask me if you have any questions. Also, please share what you want to see with Warpalizer, and which games or applications do you want to see tested?
Facts:
Univisual Technologies AB has 4 employees.
- Robert, The CEO of Univisual Technologies AB, Co-founder and creator of Warpalizer - Does design and installations of professional simulators, and development of Warpalizer
- Olav, Co-founder and Sales Director - Olav does Sales and some design of simulators. Olav has a company besides this work.
- Jimmy, Development - Jimmy was employed January 2013, Jimmy does development and testing of Warpalizer full-time.
- Marius (Me), Support Engineer - I was employed March 2013, I have a lot of tasks. Support, make/updating the website and our forums, answer customers/future customers online on forums, etc.
Warpalizer was Robert's thesis in "Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan" (University) in Stockholm, Sweden. He graduated in 2002. Unvisual Technologies was founded in 2009, by Robert and Olav.

Misconceptions (And the right answers):
- Warpalizer has little to none support - Please email us at [email protected]. Also, Warpalizer also has it's own forum now on the Warpalizer website.
- Warpalizer has no demo software - I send out 10+ demo software every day. Our demo software have no time limitation. It has some limitations tho, the screen will flash red for a second each minute and you will not be able to save your warping when you restart the pc. The reason why we don't have the demo available on our website is that we like to have a close dialog with the user for support. Contact me for a demo.
- Warpalizer is a professional product only for commercial use - Warpalizer was made for the professional market, and later released for the consumer market. The GameWarping.com site is targeted at the consumer market, unfortunately I have no time to update it yet. This is on my to do list.
- You have to buy one licence for OpenGL, one for DirectX and one for Desktop Warpalizer - Warpalizer includes OpenGL, DirectX and Desktop Warpalizer. The Gamewarping.com website needs to be updated, this is on my to do list.
- Warpalizer cannot warp the desktop - Warpalizer offers Desktop Warpalizer, which will allow you run almost any application, watch fullscreen movies with your regular player and even play your games in windowed mode.When restarting your pc the DesktopWarpalizer will immediately start at the same time as Windows. This will allow a home gamer to have a warped desktop, and start a game or movie without doing anything with the warping, no activating or deactivating.
- Warpalizer is not compatible with Matrox DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go - It is fully compatible.
- Warpalizer does not have a list of compatible games or applications. - On the Warpalizer forum there is a list in the making, I am testing games as we speak, the few games that don't work are reporting back to the development team. There is also guides for setting up games and applications to work with Warpalizer on the Warpalizer forum.
- Warpalizer has a maximum amount of projector/channel count - Warpalizer supports the amount of projectors/channel that your graphic card supports. A customer of ours have 6 outputs on the graphics card and are running 6 TH2GO, with 18 projectors.
- Warpalizer has no support for DX 10 and DX 11. - Warpalizer supports DX9, DX10 and DX11.
- There is confusion about prices. - Warpalizer costs 450 euro for 3 channels in the consumer market.
