TIPS : QUAD SLI 690GTX Nvidia Surround 2D MULTI Monitors 3xDELL 30"

Finally !

it took me a lot of time to setup, seriously...and I thought I was not stupid.....

All started from my old PC with 2GTX690 and black screens on most games. Decided to change it all so :

1) Removed the SSD DRIVE for boot.
- You might have said it before, but to me it is the wrong good idea. Works well the first month....:=)

2) Remove the RAID 0 / 1 / 10 ...whatever hard disc
- Nothing better than a direct Hard disc plus acronis backup

3) Remove all non necessary adds on

4) Connect to the motherboard properly...and here starts the pain.....:=)
- I got the Asus Maximus VI Extreme which is SUPPOSED to support 4 way SLI....yeah yeah yeah...:=) too bad after checking on Nvidia site, it is not certified....rrrr:=)

5) Then comes the question on which slot ?
- Full Speed or not ?
- Which one to connect ?

6) then the fun : ....which video port at the back...:=) because between the various Nvidia links I realized actually the picture is wrongly drawned and some details matters (which i did not pay attention)

Then...still black screen so now comes the ORIGIN fix, the 3D fix in Nvidia setting......step by step i got games working

I will film some games and stream them on ustream (look for monkeyoda), have already uplaoded one on battlefield3

MAJOR WARNING :
- GTX690 DOES NOT SUPPORT 3WAY SLI...yeah i know am, stupid i forgot it already incluides 2xGPU...of course, 6 is a lot...

but at the end Quad SLI is ok. As i still have my third one, i might just addit for support, not SLI of course, wll see. but to be honest, i dont dare changin the bios lol...

am still facing issues in some games, i will post my progresses and settings here or on my facebook page which is mormally more for DJ and music but ...

any question please ask me, ping test, config, FPS..if i can help anyone not to go to the same pain, would be happy lol.
