Enabling Multi-Monitor, 3D Vision and G25/G27 support in Driver San Francisco
Driver San Francisco requires some tweaks so you can enjoy it in 3D, multi-monitor resolutions and running a Logitech G25/G27. This game offers a kick ass experience notably in 3D Surround.
Enabling and tweaking 3D Vision :
1- Rename game's .exe from "driver.exe" to anything else, like "driver11.exe" or "dsfrancisco.exe", so the Nvidia's 3D info box should say "not rated" when game loads.
2- Alt-Tab out of the game to fix shadows in 3D when necessary (press ESC before Alt-Tab). Yes, this works great, thanks to Kingping at Nvidia forums for this solution.
3- Enjoy it in 3D (convergence is unlocked) ...
Enabling multi-monitor resolutions :
Please check all information in the game's Detailed Report, under Multi-Monitor Specific Solution, thanks to HaYDeN for this solution.
Enabling G25/G27 support :
1- Open the Driver San Francisco\Input\0x046d folder you'll find two folders and a file named 'description'. Copy and paste the 0xc295 inside the same folder and rename it 0xc299 if you have a G25, or 0xc29B for a G27. Thanks to NascarVike at UBI forums for this solution.
2- Make sure you have the "Pedals Reported As Combined" unchecked in your wheel's Windows controller panel.
3- In case the steering doesn't respond when you satrt the game, alt-tab to desktop, go into Shift mode and come back to the car a few times till the steering responds. Once it starts it's fine.
