Exapunks is a programming game developed by Zachtronics. It was released into early access on August 9, 2018, and fully released on October 22, 2018. It takes place in an alternate timeline in the year 1997. The fictional world of Exapunks is heavily computerized, and a disease called Phage is ravaging the population, turning the bodies of those affected into computerized components. The player takes on the role of Moss, a hacker who breaks into computer systems in order to afford a $700/day drug to slow the progress of his Phage affliction.
80 Days is an interactive fiction game released by Inkle on iOS platforms on July 31, 2014 and Android on December 16, 2014. It was released on Microsoft Windows and OS X on September 29, 2015. It employs branching narrative storytelling, allowing the player to make choices that impact the plot. The plot is loosely based on Jules Verne's novel Around the World in Eighty Days. The year is 1872 and Monsieur Phileas Fogg has placed a wager at the Reform Club that he can circumnavigate the world in eighty days or less.
Planet Coaster is a construction and management simulation video game developed and published by Frontier Developments for Microsoft Windows. It was a sequel to the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, released worldwide on 17 November 2016. Described as a "passion project" by Tom Cannon, the brothers spent two years making a prototype before creating a Kickstarter campaign to fund the creation in 2013.
