Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (SMAC) is the critically acclaimed science fiction 4X turn-based strategy video game sequel to the Civilization series. Sid Meier, designer of Civilization, and Brian Reynolds, designer of Civilization II, developed Alpha Centauri after they left MicroProse to join the newly-created developer Firaxis Games. Electronic Arts released both SMAC and its expansion, Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire (SMAX), in 1999.

Shogo was developed by Monolith productions. This game is a FPS with a supporting narrative. Players fight in giant "mecha" or on foot. A different selection of weapons is available for both combat modes. Player decisions made during the game can have an impact on the game's narrative and the opponents who will be encountered. You are the Turok Joshua Fireseed, who has been summoned to the Lost Land to defeat the alien race known as the Primogen. Players take on the role of Belial, who was recently freed by the defeat of Lucifier in the previous Painkiller games. Developed by Black Hole Entertainment, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos is an RTS set in the "Old World" of the Warhammer universe.The focus is on the battles with minimal resource management. The battles are large with multiple units comprised of up to sixty characters that have many tactical formations. As units battle they will gain experience and grow more deadly.

Battlefront II is the second title in the Battlefront series from Pandemic and LucasArts. The series places the player in the middle of large-scale battles on both land and space. The game is fundamentally similar to its predecessor, albeit with the addition of new gameplay mechanics. The general objective in most missions is to eliminate the enemy faction.
Like Star Wars Battlefront, the game is split into two eras, the Galactic Civil War and the Clone Wars. Players have the ability to choose between six classes during gameplay.

Shadow Ops: Red Mercury is a 2004 FPS that is available on the Xbox and Microsoft Windows platforms. You play as Captain Frank Hayden, an elite Delta Force operative. The first mission opens with Frank and other Delta Force operatives attempting to secure a briefcase nuclear bomb code named "Red Mercury" now in the possession of a terrorist known as Vlady the Vicious who is using a coast Syrian town as a base of operations.

Upon arriving in the town, the mission goes down hill when the Sea Hawk that inserted the team is shot down moments after inserting Frank and his team.
