Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues

Remove black bars for all aspect ratios

Go to --> ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Bayonetta\aspect unlock
Double-click on DisableAspectLock.reg to remove the black bars.
Black bars will be removed but the HUD and FMVs will be stretched.

Use jackfuste's fix to get rid of the bbars,center the HUD for wide aspect ratios and keep 16:9 aspect ratio on FMVs. Fix available from the PC Gaming Wiki Community Files (search there)

Notes:Certain UI elements will be distorted with this lock disabled; for example, the book that appears before boss fights may appear off-center
