Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues

Native: The patch adds a Widescreen setting in the Advanced graphics options. 'Widescreen Off' renders the game fullscreen : no more black bars.
The widescreen toggle can be found in the Options\Performance\Advanced submenu.

Optional FOV:
Go to --> Edit %USERPROFILE%\Documents\WBGames\FEAR2\\settings.cfg
Add the following line at the bottom, changing the FOV to whatever you want: "FovY" "85.00000"
Save, close, and set the file to read-only as needed
