Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues
The game was purely hor+ during the open beta. It is a mix of vert- and hor+ since the May 28, 2024 release. See the Additional Screenshots for the demonstrations. A workaround is below.
- Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\MultiVersus\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\
- Edit Engine.ini and add the following lines at the end.
[/Script/Engine.LocalPlayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV
As seen in the gameplay screenshots, after making the edit, the framing does not fully match that of 16:9.
Regardless of the edit, every menu screen will remain pillarboxed.
Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues
Same issue and workaround as for ultra-wide.
4k UHD Specific Solution & Issues
The FMVs are in 1920x1080.
