The first in the epic Police Quest series of games by Sierra. This game was originally made in 1987 but remade with 256 graphics in 1992. Police Quest: In Pursuit of the Death Angel casts the player as police officer Sonny Bonds, and takes the player on an adventure fighting crime in the fictional city of Lytton. An extremely strict adherence to police procedures is required; failure to do so will often result in failure or death of the player. This game is available on Good Old Games as part of the Police Quest 1-4 pack, and utilizes DOSBox to play on modern systems. In addition to the games, the buyer also gets the game manuals, maps, and reference cards in PDF format. As the GOG version is the 1992 remake, the game has a full point and click interface. |
