Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues
Gameplay and HUD is scaled correctly except for the on-screen racing directions which get larger as the aspect ratio widens. Menus are stretched (3D elements in menus are scaled correctly).
All cameras are fully Hor+.
When using cockpit view the camera clips into the left-hand side of the car model at some FOV settings. Looking left or right in the cockpit with higher FOV values will show where the car model suddenly ends.
Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues
The on-screen racing directions are slightly oversized.
Cockpit issues with clipping and model end are more obvious due to the wider FOV.
Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues
Works with major issues:
- The default setting of 100% FOV will result in major visual issues with buildings, cars, and other objects temporarily disappearing in whole or part (see additional screenshots). This can be avoided by reducing FOV to about 75-80% (depending on the aspect ratio).
- The on-screen racing directions are gigantic (see additional screenshots).
- Cockpit issues with clipping and model end are more obvious due to the wider FOV.
