The Shield

The Shield (also known as The Shield: The Game) is a video game based on the television show of the same name. The Shield is a third-person shooter where players take on the role of Vic Mackey (portrayed by Michael Chiklis) fighting crime on the streets of Los Angeles.

The game can be forced to support 1366x768 and possibly other resolutions that match this height.

  1. Launch the game at least once.
  2. Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Documents\Aspyr\The Shield\
  3. Open config.ini.
  4. Set SCREEN_WIDTH and SCREEN_HEIGHT to the desired resolution and save the file.

Avoid changing the Screen Mode option in the options menu, as that setting will result in stretching.
