Native support. The video options indicate which resolutions are widescreen. (Refer additional screenshots).
Gameplay is Hor+ (actually vastly Hor+ and slightly Vert-... look at the guy with a yellow diamond above his head, he's standing at a fixed position)
The static menus and character selection screens are Hor+, adding architectural elements to the screen.
There are no cutscenes throughout the entire game.
Intro FMV is a 16:9 video that gets letterboxed in other aspect ratios.

Gameplay is Hor+, no HUD stretch.
Surround gaming gives away the limited graphical architecture of the main menus !
IT has a strange glitch not present in TQ : the character selection screen has some missing, out of bounds elements. You can't rotate your character right or click the next (right) character arrow.
Thanks to the increased FOV you might see still NPCs or spot spawn points in the distance, in the form of lime green cylinders or yellow models... Don't worry, get a step closer and all will come to life!
