Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues
This is basically a 16:9 game with a Hor+ FOV and anamorphic menus.
However the scaling to lower aspects is a bit off and players will have to choose between two imperfect solutions:
Aspect correction Off: Hor+ gameplay with squished HUD and menus.
Aspect correction On: "Vert+" gameplay with correctly scaled HUD and letterboxed menus.
Aspect correction is accessible through Help & Options, Video Settings.
Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues
Native support.
Turn Aspect correction on to unstretch the UI; the FOV is unaffected.
Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues
Native support.
Aspect correction has no effect. The UI is always constrained to the central third of the picture; on 16:10 monitors, it is both pillarboxed and slightly squished.
The smoke density glitch that plagued Trials Evolution is gone, yay !
