The newest issue of Game Informer includes a lengthy look at the new Unreal Engine 4, with Epic disclosing their expectations for its lifespan being a decade long. Is this a good thing? Or is it an indication of the sorry state of recycled AAA titles and the diminishing ambition to innovate left in our biggest publishers?

DiRT Showdown is an arcade style destruction derby racing game. The multi-monitor support is good, resolution options are listed in game however the FoV appears to be an odd mix of horizontal plus and vertical minus, this appear to differer from system to system, for example mine is almost right however I've seen screenshots that are nearly completely vertical minus. The UI is centred but the HUD, at least on my system, is not. As for the video itself, I've tried to do another commentary while playing the game, I'm still not very good at it so please bare with me.
While this video can be watched on any screen it has been encoded to look best on a multi-monitor system, so if your running such a system, then select original quality from the drop down box and watch in fullscreen.
I'd like to thank everyone for their great response in our donation drive. In eleven days we hit our first goal of $2000. This help from the community will allow us to cover our monthly costs. Like all that Kickstarter madness, we are going to put some stretch goals to help us cover other major costs we've had this year. The first stretch goal will be to cover the 2011 Awards. I'm raising the goal to $3000, but I took this screen grab of the goal being reached.
For info on donation drive, and why we kicked it off in the first place, hit up the source link to read that post. And remember, folks who donate get special badges for their profile for 2012.
If you donate $25 or more, I'll add the "I Donated" badge to your profile. If you donate $100 or more, I'll also add the "Like a Boss" badge to your profile. Please note - Prior to this donation drive, the *ONLY* people on the site to have the "Like a Boss" badge are the four-man Admin Team (skipclarke, AussieTimmeh, CrackerJackMack and Delphium).
Over the recent years we have seen multi-screen video technologies really improve to achieve some great things such as AMD's Eyefinity and Nvidia's Surround, we even have the Matrox TH2G and Mview products.
Unfortunately, there is still a lack of any DisplayPort to DVI Multi-Stream Transport (MST) hubs on the market and there is even less support for Portrait-Landscape-Portrait (PLP). The only way of achieving PLP for gaming is via the SoftTH software, which from experience is less than user friendly, and also limited to DirectX9.
AMD was gracious enough to give us a handful of DiRT Showdown keys. Win a copy by creating an Eyefinity wallpaper with a DiRT Showdown theme. Hit up the source link for info on the game, the contest, and to grab some art and assets that Codemasters and AMD gave us for the contest.
Entires will be taken for two weeks, until June 6th. Voting will commence for a week after that.
