Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a racing game from Criterion, the game is a sort of hybrid between Burnout Paradise and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. It has pretty good multi-monitor support, I didn't need to mess about with the resolution, renders horizontal plus by default, the HUD is by default located to fit to a 16:9 aspect ratio, however there is an option to change the HUD scale, and this can be used to move it to 16:10 or 4:3. The video itself is part analysis, part walkthough and part waffle, feel free to like or dislike my video and comment are always welcome too.
While this video can be watched on any screen it has been encoded to look best on a multi-monitor system, so if your running such a system, then select original quality from the drop down box and watch in fullscreen.

Monster Hunters Tri is an action game that sees you taking the roll of a monster hunter who's main purpose it to hunt and kill or trap the biggest and baddest monsters around. The game is actually a Wii game, a 2 year old one at that, and to get it running on a multi-monitor system I've been using the dolphin emulator as well as a few other tools that let me create an image from the original game on my Wii. The video itself is part analysis, part walkthough and part waffle, and I largely made it just to see if I could get it working, in my opinion Monster Hunters Tri was/is one of the best games out for the Wii. Feel free to like or dislike my video and comment are always welcome too.

We'll be right back!
As part of our never-ending efforts to improve your experience here on the WSGF, we will be performing a major migration and update to the site. Two years ago we moved from a variety of web platforms to a single Drupal environment. We expected that there would be issues after the migration, but we never anticipated the impacts to the site's speed and usability. And, we never anticipated that we wouldn't be able to fix any issues we were faced with. But, that is where we are at.

Over the Steam sales, bundles packed with indie games become available, creatively named Indie Bundles. They are usually priced around $10USD and contain 5 games each. Over the next few weeks, I am going to review them for you, hopefully in time for the Christmas sales. We've noticed that sometimes Steam will tweak the Indie Bundles depending on how they sell, so these are from the summer break sales in 2012.
These reviews are totally subjective, different things will definitely appeal to different people. Take my reviews with a grain of salt. But as we all know, every now and them some gems come out to play and they turn into one of the best value games you have ever bought. They can often field new game concepts that the big developers haven't considered. We'll get to see this as we have a look at the good, the bad, and the plain bizarre games that are loaded into these Indie Bundles.

This is the eleventh entry in my series of reviews for the Steam Indie Bundles. Each review is short and subjective, and is geared to give you a quick look at the game. Indie Bundle 11 includes: Hydrophobia: Prophecy, ORION: Dino Beatdown, Star Ruler, Waveform, and World of Goo.
The game is played from a first-person perspective and allows the player to tackle a series of assassination missions in a variety of ways, with an emphasis on player choice. Missions can be tackled by stealth, combat or a combination of both. Exploring levels opens new paths and alternatives for accomplishing mission goals, and it is possible to complete all missions and eliminate all of Attano's targets in a non-lethal manner. The story and missions are modified based on violent actions, or lack thereof, committed by the player.

AMD recently launched a new bundle to help sweeten the deal in when purchasing a Radeon HD 7000 series card. Great news is that they are offering not only free games, but new popular titles. As someone said in response to the bundle, "AMD is actually giving away games people want to play". Up for inclusion are Far Cry 3, Hitman: Absolution, and Sleeping Dogs, plus a coupon for 20% off Medal of Honor: Warfighter. As would be expected, the bigger you buy, the more you get.
AMD has also released an improved Catalyst driver suite, that brings marked improvements to a number of popular titles. We haven't had a chance to test the new driver, but AMD claims the new 12.11 driver bring an average of 10% improvement across Borderlands 2, Dirt Showdown, Skyrim, Sleeping Dogs, Starcraft 2, Civ5 and more.
