AMD Releases Catalyst 10.10 Driver Update

The 10.10 driver was the release driver for the AMD Radeon HD 6870/6850. This driver introduced AMD's support for OpenCL and HD3D. There are no specific Eyefinity improvements.

Catalyst APP - Introduced AMD Catalyst Accelerated Parallel Processing ("APP") technology Edition version of the driver. This version includes the AMD OpenCL driver

AMD HD3D - Introduction of AMD HD3D Technology. This is AMD's "open source" 3D solution for Blu-Ray 3D and Stereo 3D gaming. HD3D requires an HDMI 1.4a device and the DDD or iZ3S middle-ware.

Performance Improvements - Driver performance improvements include: Aliens vs. Predator, BattleForge, STALKER: Pripyat, Heaven Benchmark and World in Conflict.

Application Profiles - The associated Application Profiles increase CrossFire performance for Medal of Honor, Darksiders, NBA 2K11, Civilization V, H.A.W.X. 2 and World of Warcraft.
