AMD Releases Catalyst 10.7 Driver Update

The 10.7 release brought a several enhancements, with one major enhancement for Eyefinity users. Additionally, it brought new Linux support. AMD also released a 10.7a Hotfix.

CrossFireX for Portrait Configurations - Improves the CrossFireX implementation in Eyefinity by adding support for 3x1-Portrait configuraitons.

Eyefinity / HydraVision Enhancements - Maximizing a window across multiple displays now takes Bezel Compensation into account. Dialog boxes can now be forced to the "preferred" display, and they will not display behind bezels

Video Acceleration in VLC 1.1.1 - Enables GPU acceleration of H.264 video content in VLC 1.1.1
Borderlands - Performance improvements of about 5% in Borderlands on various cards with a variety of settings.

QuadFire Support for Eyefinity - Enabled with Catalyst 10.7a Hotfix
