SoftTH Source Code Released

In a recent news post, we told you that a call had gone out to release the source code to SoftTH as open source. We are pleased to announce that the code has indeed been released under GNU GPL v3.

Development had stalled on SoftTH, due to personal demands and lack of interest by the creator. While still widely in use, the software remained only DX9 compliant. The hope is that a new group of coders will pick up the code and add support for DX10/11, and add new functionality. Discussion is currently ongoing in the wsgf forums.
