Well they are at my house anyway! I said goodbye to the bezel casings and hello to an Ergotec triple screen mount! The result is fantastic! Why blow the money on the new samsung thin bezel displays when you can create your own for much, much, less. Take a look at these new sexy shots.

I was very confused for a minute, thinking Dell had released a new slim-bezel model.

Then I realised that you'd taken the frames off yourself. Looks a neat job. :)

It was completely worth it! Its an easy mod to do, all you need is a phillips screwdriver, a mini philips screwdriver, a flat screwdriver and a butternife! If you have a steady hand and patience you can remove the bezels without a scratch, which is good so you wont void any warranty!

It takes about five minutes to do each monitor, and I strongly recommend the ergotec triple mount that they have profiled in the hardware section. The whole process takes less than half an hour, and the slimmer bezels give it a far slicker appearance, plus I don't have to stare at three Dell badges and black, black bars! The metal bezels actually take on the colour of the game your playing, which is pretty cool! When I play the Just Cause 2 demo, they radiate sand color and when I play my wwi flying game they almost look like part of the plane struts!

I noticed that my 2208wfp SE with silver bezels did the same thing.

The first thing I noticed between the before and after shots is +Bezel Management hehe.

Looks like a nice setup. Funky metal frame above the monitors.
