Well ill give that a try then :) Wonder if my u2410 will able to run 75Hz since the 2209WA can, even tho the dell webpage says max supported 1680x1050 60Hz.

Well seems 60Hz is the highest I can go with the dell u2410

Funny thing is in ATI CCC it says

Maximum reported resolution: 1920x1200
Maximum reported refresh rate: 75Hz

Your max refresh rate is 75, but not at 1920x1200. Most lcd monitors will max out at 60 hz at its highest res, but can do higher refresh rates at lower resolutions such as 1024 by 768@75 etc

I'm sure the card can go at higher resolution but I have not seen any LCD monitor that goe above 75hz.

(well maybe the samsung 120hz lcds)

but the question if your mointor is 5ms or even 2ms going above 75hz ..

your response time on the pixel can't even keep up.. what's the point?

I can understand fast refresh on a CRT monitor but LCD seems kinda moot point/scam

I read somewhere that 75Hz TFTs are a scam anyway - the graphics card outputs 75Hz, but the monitor just drops every fifth frame to make it 60Hz regardless of actual output refresh.

I think it was on OCN, but can't remember right now so take with a grain of salt until I can verify.
