OK , guess that we have a ball which you can sit in there and 3 projector (120 degree each), make the screen. Is there any game(PC GAME) would support this resulotion? Is this possible to do this project? last year I diffused the screen in 3 LCDs and ran Grid and stalker, now I want to know if I can do this project for same company...

Hi and welcome to WSGF :)

I don't have a clue about what is possible in regards to you questions.
I did see a Quake game that was running on a 360 degree wall.

Not sure if it can do full sphere though.
One of these days something like that will be fairly commonplace.
Along with a top end unit that is on a centrifuge, so we can feel gravity while playing. That would be great for flight/race simulations. It would be good in any game that has character movement.
Someday this will be, but years from now.
The first step to having centrifuge Force Feedback is to also have games displaying on a sphere
So let us know what you come up with :onethumb

I'm also curious, I know most game when you get past a certain FOV, the image tends to flip (Unreal Engine). Are there anymore games that can do 360? Because making a setup for just Quake is kinda absurd.

Most games get a bit confused at anything over 180 degrees with their camera code. I originally was planning 360 degree projector use, but I compromised with 180 degree to satisfy a need for a more generic solution that most any surround-game can use.

For a game to render in full 360 degrees, they need to use multiple frustums. It's rare for games to do that, but there are some games that do, like modified Quake engines, Flight Simulation, and a few others.

A prime example of a game that can handle it would be using an EyeFinity 6 and Microsoft FSX. You'd have 5 or 6 projectors and span 10 camera windows over the whole 360 degree setup making for a seamless exterior panorama. Too bad this is FSX specific though.
