Ok so up until recently i was running my eyefinity setup on 6088x1200. (bezel comp 5760x1200) I was using two I-Inc iH282 (28" 1920x1200 on DVI) and a I-Inc IF281D (also 28" 1920x1200 passive Displayport to VGA) it all worked perfectly.

They are almost the exact same monitor but not quite. One has a bulkier frame and there is a height difference. This annoyed me so I bought a 3rd iH282.

When I hooked up the 3rd matching monitor it killed my eyefinity group (as expected) so I had to make a new one. When i do I'm stuck using 4800x1200 with no bezel comp available. this turned out to be because the displayport monitor is only detecting as 1600x1200. Tried using displayport on another monitor but it made no difference. whichever one was on displayport was 1600x1200. After messing with it for a while I was worried the new monitor didn't support my adapter I decided to switch back to my old monitor only to find that I had the same problem. So now my setup is the same as before when it worked but I cant make it work again. Then I remembered having a similar problem when I first set up eyefinity. The problem is that I don't remember how I solved it. Am I making sense? I KNOW this can work because it DID work for over a year. Anyone ever have a problem like this before?

EDIT:
Im using the latest CCC on windows 7 64bit

OK I fixed it.

while everything was ON I disconnected the minidisplay adapter and all cords, blew in all the connectors and reassembled it and it detected perfectly. It may have been the action of plugging it in to the video card while on or it may have been a dusty connection but it works now. If anyone ever gets this problem try that.
