Can anyone get the NFS: underground to work w/ a Hitachi 50V500 and a 9800pro? I did the hack, but the menu is still at 800x600 ( i think) and my tv can't display that resolution. I get a black screen, so i can't navigate around the menu to use the custom res. I read from avsforum that 800x600 might be working w/ the component dongle (using DVI right now), mayb I should get that instead?

The menu's are hard-coded at 800x600, only the actual driving part is at the selected resolution. I think MaxC had a way round this?

Try component, if it works, great! :D

Is there a way around it? I can't use the custom res because I can't see the menu.

The patch works very nicely for KOTOR, but there's a small flaw. The FMVs now play in a small window, like a non-anamorphic widescreen DVD.

Hello,
I noticed that the HUD seems to be zoomed on POP4:Sands O' Time in 1280x720. I used the POPWS.exe crack; that didnt' seem to do anything for me. So I used the Universal Translator from this post. That gave me the 1280x720 option, and the aspect seemed to be correct... but the health bar was zoomed off of the top of the screen. Is everybody having this problem?

Xhonzi

Edit: Hmmm... I let it sit for a couple of days and when I reloaded it... it was perfect! Go figure!

Uh-oh... I just broke my KotOR too... I installed it... patched it to 1.03... NoCD'd it (for 1.03) then used the UniWS thingy. It lets me select from 1280x720 for some refresh rates 60hz-75hz... but all of them crash the game. I get the "this program has died on you" message. Every time. Anyhelp? Anygood 16x9 resolutions that work better than that?

Wogg had to take some time from the board to work on a new business. He said that he would still look at a game or two if people wanted it. I'd suggest hitting him with an email from the link on one of his posts.
